From illness to healing, harmony & wholeness
I had turned in every direction looking for help (western and eastern medicine, self-help books and courses, counselling, wellbeing retreats), it all helped a little. A major game changer for me, was learning that the mind, body and soul (and our outer conflicts) are interconnected and the answer to everything is inside of me! When I started to understand my own mind, body and spiritual Self, then I started to really heal and find my peace and bliss.
I learned that when we get caught up in external expectations and conditioning of culture and society and experience internal conflict – then we suffer … mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually too. However …
Anything can be overcome. When we realise that we are not what happened to us, our trauma, family, relationships, illness, thoughts or any external identity, but we are in fact unlimited Divine beings …Through the process of True Self Discovery we connect to our True Divine Nature and create an elevated state of mind/ life.
So the question is: how do we do it?
Using the process of True Self Discovery – a practical spiritual and mind-body approach (based on my understanding of Sikh spirituality). The process involves understanding and going beyond the surface of our social and mental conditioning and traumatic experiences to a deeper level of experience and wisdom. Through self inquiry/ contemplation (khoj), meditation practice and other tools, we learn to release unhelpful mental patterns, trauma and pain and connect more deeply to the healing state of the Divine.
“You are the embodiment of Divine light, recognise your Divine nature.”
– Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji, Ang 441
Through the process of True Self Discovery we can heal the past and create a present elevated state of life: sehaj-anand (peaceful-bliss). This is not just my mission statement or a passion project, this is the purpose of my life: to shine my light and walk beside you as you learn to shine yours.
So are you ready to step into your own light? Let’s do it together!
